Playson expands European presence with content integration deal with Fortuna Entertainment Group

Following the recent release of an improved version of Solar Queen, online casino game developer Playson has entered into a content integration deal with Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG), a leading omni-channel sports betting and gambling operator in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Asian gambling market, according to asian-bookies.net is keen to partner with Fortuna Entertainment Group and reports that Playson has called a "major deal" several player favorites from its classic slots portfolio, including recent Royal Coins: Hold and Win, 5 Fortunator and 9 Happy Pharaohs releases focusing on Ancient Egypt, will be integrated into the group's online offerings.

Improved offering:

Commenting on the collaboration through the Fortuna Entertainment Group press office, the operator said it was "thrilled" with the deal struck with "a leading developer such as Playson, which has a solid reputation for creating compelling content that resonates with players in our core markets."

The developer's content "will enhance the online gaming offerings across all of our brands and provide players with access to some of the most exciting slots in the industry."

Founded in the Czech Republic more than three decades ago, the entertainment group has evolved into an international operator, now expanding to markets in Slovakia, Poland, Romania and Croatia. The company employs more than 6,000 people and is the largest betting and gaming operator in Central and Eastern Europe.

New Audience:

Blanca Homor, Playson's director of sales, also commented on the new content integration deal in her own press release, saying they were "excited about the prospect of working with a brand that has three decades of experience in Central and Eastern European markets."

Homor said they look forward to working with Fortuna Entertainment Group's leading online brands and "delighting new audiences" with their "successful portfolio of exciting games."

New Slot:

Playson's latest partnership follows the release of Solar Queen Megaways, an enhanced version of one of the company's most successful games that offers up to 7,776 ways to win.

Although visually similar to its predecessor, the 5-reel slot, which transports players back in time to ancient Egypt, is given an exciting level with its popular game mechanics and ever-changing 2-6 rows.

Players will still find the amazing Flaming Flames feature with a cycle of 10 spins, just like the original. The Scorching Sun symbol creates a fiery frame that changes cells to Wild symbols on the last spin. The reappearance of the Sun symbol in the fire frame adds a progressive multiplier that can increase line winnings up to x10.

In keeping with the classic theme of the original game, the Scarab serves as a Scatter symbol, three of which trigger 10 extra spins, while Sticky Wild symbols remain on the reels until the mode is exhausted. In addition, depending on the jurisdiction, players can purchase entry to the extra spins mode for 100 bets.

Megaways Mechanics:

Commenting on the new launch, Vsevolod Lapin, head of product at Playson, said

"We are excited to offer players a reimagined version of the popular Solar Queen game, now with the impressive Megaways™ mechanism."

Lapin added that the latest release is another example of the developer's "ambition and desire to create industry-leading products," as well as its "ability to reimagine and improve" its own portfolio of slots.
